Aural keeps three things apart on purpose: what you practice, what you pay, and what the website serves. This page explains what stays on your iPhone and what is handled separately.

Your recordings, transcripts, coaching, session metrics, scenario titles, recording activity, audio-derived information, and other practice content stay on your iPhone. Transcription and coaching happen on your device.
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store. A purchase service anonymously checks whether a pass or plan is active. It does not receive your email, login, profile details, practice or session data, transcripts, coaching, or recording activity.
Apple may receive limited app and device diagnostics, including crash reports, performance information, and feedback you choose to send as a tester. These reports may describe feature availability, delays, failed checks, or recovery from a problem.
None of these receive your practice content, session metrics, recording behavior, file paths, filenames, audio-derived values, scenario titles, or calendar content.
Website hosting and protection services receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, requested page, and browser information, to deliver and protect meetaural.com. The website does not receive your practice content.
iCloud Backup is controlled by your Apple ID settings and may include the app's sandbox unless backup exclusion is configured and verified. That choice lives in iOS, with your Apple ID, not on this website.
No account to create. No cloud sync for practice content. No email capture. No waitlist. These absences are deliberate, and they carry part of the boundary.
